About Elizabeth Gilmore
Hello Creative Soul.
My name is Elizabeth, a Creativity Consultant dedicated to helping artists overcome burnout, stay accountable, and achieve their creative goals. Based in Bass Coast, South Gippsland, Victoria, Australia, I offer personalised support to guide you through challenges and unlock your full creative potential. I know firsthand how burnout and mental barriers can stifle creativity. I've faced these challenges myself and found transformative ways to overcome them. This personal journey has been a game changer for me, and it's my mission to help others experiencing similar struggles. I'm passionate about reigniting the creative spark in artists who feel stuck or overwhelmed. My background spans multiple industries, including running a home cleaning business, vintage teacup rental service, manufacturing allergy friendly muffin and cake mixes, and selling homemade jewellery. I currently run a successful proofreading and editing service. Each of these experiences has deepened my understanding and love of creativity and problem-solving. In addition to consulting, I am also a freelance writer, and illustrator. I've designed tattoos, and illustrated two counselling picture books for APTBY Cambodia. I have been published in newspapers and anthologies, and have had multiple manuscripts make it to acquisitions. These creative projects have honed my skills in visual storytelling and artistic expression, further enriching my approach to creativity consulting. My qualifications include a Certificate III and IV in Education Support, a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, and a Food and Handling Safety Certificate. My Diploma in Professional Book Editing and Proofreading underpins my commitment to precision and detail. Additionally, I've completed multiple courses on creativity, equipping me to assist you in diverse aspects of your creative journey. I specialise in a range of services designed to support and inspire you: - Burnout Recovery: Drawing from my own experiences, I offer strategies and tools to help you rekindle your creative passion and overcome obstacles. - Accountability Sessions: Regular check-ins to keep you motivated and on track with your creative projects. - Goal Planning: Tailored sessions to set, refine, and achieve your creative and professional goals. - Editing, Proofreading, Manuscript and Portfolio Assessments: Detailed reviews to ensure your work is polished and ready for publication. - Brain Bounce Sessions: Brainstorming sessions to help you bounce your ideas to formation. I'm passionate about planning and problem-solving, and love helping others overcome creative challenges. If you're an artist feeling stuck or burnt out, let's work together to transform your creative journey. With a fresh perspective, reliable accountability, and a structured plan, I'm here to support you every step of the way to help you reach your goals. Ready to transform your creative journey?
