The Creator Within
Elizabeth stared at the mountain of dishes, and sighed, why was life so mundane? She loved her husband, and her kids, but being stuck at home was just so boring.
She grabbed the bottle of dish soap and squirted the green goo into the hot running water in the sink, bubbles began to rise, ideas were forming and popping before her very eyes. Left, write, and centre! With wet sopping hands, she dashed to find scraps of paper to jot down those fleeting magical ideas, barely audible in her brain, knowing, at night, after she weaved the magic of sandman on the children, she would be able to write and draw, and create to her heart's content. The children giggled from the kitchen, as she turned back to the never ending story of dishes, to see the children sitting in the bubbles which had overflowed from the sink, as in her haste to jot down those ideas, she'd left the tap running. "Room for one more?" she laughed, as she turned off the tap and dolloped white clouds of fluff on each of their heads. Maybe life wasn't all that mundane.
