Hello Creative Souls!
My name is Elizabeth Gilmore, and I am a Creativity Consultant, Editor, and Illustrator based in Bass Coast, South Gippsland, Victoria, Australia. Creativity has always been my guiding light – whether it is finding a solution to a problem, creating art, writing a story, or composing a musical piece. It has always been my compass. |
My experience spans many industries, from running a home cleaning business and a vintage teacup rental service, to creating allergy-friendly muffin mixes and selling handmade jewellery. These ventures have shaped my approach to creativity and problem-solving.
Since 2015, I’ve worked as an editor, honing my skills across diverse industries and genres, from websites, listings, anthologies, resumes, course creation, and books. Over the years, I’ve found my niche supporting the KidLit community, particularly in self-publishing. My editing, proofreading, and creative support services help authors actualise their dreams. |
In addition to editing and consulting, I’m also a freelance writer and illustrator. I have designed tattoos, illustrated two counselling picture books for APTBY Cambodia, created custom art, and collaborated with industry experts to create courses.
My work has been published in newspapers and anthologies, and my manuscripts have made it to acquisitions within traditional publishing houses. I’m currently working on a self-publishing project. |
I hold a Certificate III and IV in Education Support, a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, and a Diploma in Professional Book Editing and Proofreading. I have completed numerous courses in creativity, over the years, and am an active member of several creative communities.
The most rewarding part about being a Creativity Consultant is watching my clients achieve their goals – whether they are completing a project, gaining clarity, building confidence, or getting their book published, seeing their success brings joy to my heart and reaffirms my belief in helping people achieve their life goals. I believe everyone is creative, and sometimes we need guidance to rediscover our spark. I would love to be part of your journey. |
